Safety is a #1 priority for the Club!
The 200-yard range is currently closed while backstop work is being completed.
Here’s a fun twist on the rules and guidelines:
“Attention, sharpshooters and weekend warriors! We’ve got some ground rules to keep our shindigs safe and sound. So, listen up!
- Keep the spirits high, but leave the spirits aside – no alcohol allowed before or during shooting. Safety first, folks!
- Gear up like a futuristic cowboy – always sport your eye and ear armor when you’re in the shooting zones (Safety glasses and ear protection).
- Don’t be a wild west desperado – practice safe shooting habits like a pro.
- This ain’t the Wild West, no shooting at steel poles or targets unless it’s a legit showdown sponsored by us.
- Stick to your firing lines, pardner – no wandering off into the sunset or halfway to targets.
- No high-caliber shenanigans on the ranges, amigos.
- Little gunslingers need a chaperone – juniors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- To all gunslingers—-No shooting at trees, poles, or anything else that is not classified as a provided target. Please do not shoot from the Clubhouse.
Remember, folks, safety ain’t just a slogan, it’s a lifestyle. So, let’s keep this shootin’ gallery safe and fun for everyone!”
LIFE SAVING GEAR (everyone should know where it is located in case you get sent to get the equipment while the trained person stays with the injured.
Y’all mean the world to us, so we’re packing some serious life-saving gear. We’ve got not one, but two life-saving gizmos called AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillators) – one on the trail to the restrooms and a portable carrying case right inside the clubhouse door near the campfire. Plus, we’ve got a stash of medical goodies in a big orange locked box beside the AED by the campfire. If you’re skilled and itching to check out the supplies, just give a holler to Faye Sabina or Greg Semashko.
Need some medical know-how? Reach out to Faye Sabina for CPR/First Aid training. We’re wrangling up a class come Spring thaw!!
