Nestled along the beautiful Gun Club Lane in Forward & Adams Township, Butler County, our club is a cherished institution with a rich history of nearly seven decades. We are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community and camaraderie, especially among our youth. Our expansive 76-acre facility provides a safe and welcoming environment for shooters of all ages and skill levels, ensuring memorable experiences for every member of your family.

At Mars Rod and Gun Club, we prioritize youth involvement through various educational programs and community initiatives designed to promote safety and skill-building. Our offerings include:

• Hunter-Trapper Education: Essential for young outdoor enthusiasts or those that need the proof of attendance at the program if planning on hunting out of state..
• Boy Scouts of America Merit Badges: Opportunities for scouts to learn and grow.
• NRA Women on Target Events: Empowering women and girls to engage in shooting sports.

Every Tuesday night from September through February, our gates welcome participants of all ages to the exciting SnoBall League, creating a thrilling atmosphere for everyone involved. We also host two traveling summer leagues and year-round Trap Practice on Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where youth can practice alongside experienced shooters. Plus, our kitchen serves delicious meals during Trap Leagues!

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Join us for an array of exhilarating events, including:

• Pistol Shoots: Perfect for honing skills in a safe environment.
• 22 LR Precision shoots
• Black Powder/Muzzle Loader League: Held on Saturdays in January and February, featuring a heartwarming breakfast.
• 3D Archery Shoots: Engaging events that immerse participants in the world of archery.

As a proud affiliate of esteemed organizations like the National Rifle Association (NRA), Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), and PA Rifle and Pistol Association, we are committed to promoting responsible firearm ownership and proficiency. Our club boasts a dedicated team of NRA-certified instructors, ensuring that young shooters receive expert guidance in a secure and supportive setting.
