Mars Precision Rimfire Rifle Shoot 22LR (Long Rifle) Only! Sunday April 7, 2024

This was the first event of this kind to be held at Mars Rod and Gun Club. And hopefully the first of many for 22LR Precision Rimfire Rifle Shooting. Jon Unger organized this shoot which was held on Sunday, April 7th, 2024. A great time was had by all and it was a beautiful sunny day. Stay tuned for future information

Information for the first shot follows:

Set up starts at 11:00 am
Registration starting at 11:30 am.
Mandatory safety briefing at 11:45 am.
Post match meeting to discuss what worked, what didn’t, and any changes needed. Get in on the ground floor of helping to decide on future events.
50-round minimum
Ear and Eye Protection required
The organizer will assess youth acceptance based on firearm experience and safety, rather than solely on age. Their judgment will be the final determining factor.
Chamber Flag/Empty Chamber Indicator Mandatory– if you don’t have one, you can purchase one, or I have been told you can use Weed Wacker string.
