This will be the second event of this kind to be held at Mars Rod and Gun Club. And hopefully one of many for 22LR Precision Rimfire Rifle Shooting. Jon Unger is the organizer of this shoot and it will be held on Sunday, May 19th, 2024. The first shoot went very well and a great time was had by all. It was a beautiful sunny day and we are speaking the weather will be the same this time! Come out and see what it is all about.

Information for the second shoot is as follows:

Set up starts at 11:00 am

• Registration starting at 11:30 am.
• Mandatory safety briefing at 11:45 am.
• NSL guidelines are followed.
• Post match meeting to discuss what worked, what didn’t, and any changes needed. Get in on the ground floor of helping to decide on future events.
• 50-round minimum
• Ear and Eye Protection required
• The organizer will assess youth acceptance based on firearm experience and safety, rather than solely on age. Their judgment will be the final determining factor.
• Chamber Flag/Empty Chamber Indicator Mandatory– if you don’t have one, you can purchase one, or I have been told you can use Weed Wacker string.
• $10.00 a shooter
